WELCOME

10th Sept 2025

Welcome to the new Central Taekwondo Academy website. Please have a browse around the site.

You will find information for new beginners, our latest Calendar of Events, a list of all the black belts and senior grades we have produced and, most significantly, all Central members are able to access videos of their grading syllabus.

The syllabus is demonstrated by Natasha Wilson 4th Dan Black Belt.  Natasha is an eleven time British Poomsae Champion and has competed all over the world, representing the UK at European and World Championships.  Therefore, these videos are a fantastic training aid.  Students are able to see the required techniques performed at a high standard.

Thank you for your continued support.

Grandmaster Bailey attended the International Taekwondo Masters Course at the Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, Korea. The course involved classroom based theory training and practical training in all aspects of Taekwondo.

The international masters underwent a rigorous test in front of a panel of World Taekwondo Examiners, which included basic movements, technical kicking, poomsae, padwork and a written exam.

GMB was honoured to receive a Letter of Commendation from the new Kukkiwon President, Grandmaster Yun Ung Suk. The commendation was presented by the Kukkiwon Vice President.
